Uniting both the classic and contemporary, incorporating hand-carved, Staunton inspired design chess pieces, featuring Purling's unique Knight design.
Our luxury hardwood pieces are produced to a high standard and hand painted in London, with 2 layers of base coat primer, 2 coats of high gloss paint and finished with 2 coats of lacquer, to produce a deep glossy, desirable and durable finish for added protection.
Each chess piece has a beautiful Italian Nappa Leather felt base, featuring the Purling crown logo embossed in 18 carat gold.
Each set contains 4 Queens for effortless pawn promotion.
The chess board measures 55cm x 55cm and is hand made and finished in England, Purling Purple & White and features the Purling crown logo in the bottom right hand playing square.
