Craftsmanship

As you walk through the door, the first thing you notice is the smell of leather, closely followed by the sea of colours created by our diaries, visitor’s books and leather accessories. Look a little closer and you’ll see the quality of the materials and the price. That’s when you’ll find yourself thinking about all your friends who’d love to pull the ribbon of a smart blue and cream box and discover a Noble Macmillan album, notebook or travel wallet – with their name on it.

On some of our shelves you’ll find books which are hand-bound, thread sewn and tooled with silver or gold leaf.  On others you’ll find journals with witty messages as well as many leather accessories in this season’s most striking colours. At Noble Macmillan old fashioned courtesy is backed up with efficiency, quick delivery and the ability to personalise a present with a name, date or message while you wait.

We’ve been making photo frames, albums and small leather accessories for more than 25 years and we’re still based in our original home – in a cobbled Kensington mews. Our products range from being impeccably grand to strikingly contemporary – representing the best of British style without ever trying too hard.

We never forget that we create albums, journals and books that hold a person’s most precious thoughts and it’s our job to do many of life’s most important milestones justice. Noble Macmillan uses the finest materials and craftsmen, whether it’s in our workshop in Wiltshire, bookbinders in London or in the Andalusian town of Ubrique – a place famed for the quality of its leather goods.

Design is every bit as important as craftsmanship and we’ve been using our skills to create some of the most striking leather accessories in the country. Noble Macmillan is on a journey and we’re being cheered on by our customers. Our shop is still considered a hidden gem by some but for others it’s already become a destination.
